If it’s your first time logging in to TD Ameritrade Institutional, click the “Get started” button, then just follow the instructions.  You will be asked for your 9 digit account number along with your zip code.  From there you’ll create your user name and password.  You’ll be given a confirmation pin, either via email or phone, which you’ll enter in the appropriate place.
